Tue Dec 6, 2011 Bayfield Enters into Surface Rights Remediation Agreement
Vancouver, BC - Bayfield Ventures Corp.(TSX-V: BYV) (Frankfurt: B4N)(the "Company") reports that it has entered an Agreement (the "Agreement") in connection with its Burns Block gold-silver project located in the Rainy River District of north western Ontario. Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, the Company has agreed to issue a total of 160,000 common shares of the Company to the owners of the surface rights as compensation for necessary surface restoration. The Company holds a 100% interest in the mineral rights to the property. The Agreement is subject to the acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange.
Bayfield Ventures Corp. is exploring for gold in the Rainy River District of north-western Ontario.
The Company has 62.8 million shares outstanding.
