Rainy River Eastern Burns Block Exploration:
Burns East Hole RR12-4 is at 250 metres this morning now into the dacite hanging wall.
Rainy River C Block Exploration:
C Block Hole C12-3 is at 326 metres this morning and drilling sedimentary rocks.
Rainy River B Block Exploration:
Drill on B Block hole B12-3 is not turning as the drillers ran out of casing shoes and bits.

Rainy River Eastern Burns Block Exploration:
Burns East Hole RR12-4 is at 167 metres this morning in mafic tuffs.
Rainy River C Block Exploration:
C Block Hole C12-3 is at 257 metres this morning in a fragmental mafic unit. Plan to drill hole to approx. 500 metres.

Rainy River Eastern Burns Block Exploration:
Burns East Hole RR12-3 is at 580 metres this morning and entered target zone at 510 metres, earlier than expected. Seeing sericite alteration.
Rainy River C Block Exploration:
C Block Hole C12-3 is now running casing. There were issues with the long move, frozen waterline etc. but all seems in order now. The target of the hole is to cross cut the remaining geology to the far north boundary of the block in the continued search fo... (2 KB) |

Rainy River Eastern Burns Block Exploration:
Burns East Hole RR12-3 is at 461 metres this morning and still cutting through the hanging wall dacites. Dip is approx. 79 degrees and the azimuth is 3 degrees.
Rainy River C Block Exploration:
Hole C12-2 was completed to 881.4 metres. Final dip was 30 degrees and azimuth was 334 degrees. Hole ended in mafic tuffs. C Block hole C12-3 getting cased this morning.

Rainy River Eastern Burns Block Exploration:
Burns Block East Hole RR12-3 now at 321 metres this morning and has now drilled through the mafic hanging wall rocks and have entered the hanging wall dacite units. Still a ways to go to target.
Rainy River C Block Exploration:

Rainy River Eastern Burns Block Exploration:
East Burns Block Hole RR12-3 was at 265 metres this morning and has now passed out of upper cycle dacite and into the mafic units seen in all other holes in the area. Target still many metres out in front of the bit. Dip is still steep at 80 degrees.

Rainy River Eastern Burns Exploration:
Hole RR12-3 was at 171 metres this morning in the dacite hanging wall. Target still several days away.
Rainy River C Block Exploration:
Hole C12-2 is at 780 metres this morning in a sequence of mafic volcanic rocks. Access trail and collar for the next hole C12-3 has been opened by the skidder and will be ready for use within another day. We plan to drill the current hole to at least 900 metres. Rainy River Eastern Burns Exploration:
Hole RR12-3 was at 52 metres this morning in the upper Dacite hanging wall volcanics. Should see the mafic volcanic sequence today and then enter main dacite hanging wall. Zone target depth is around 550 metres.
Rainy River C Block Exploration:
Hole C12-2 is at 710 metres this morning and drilling through a sheared sequence of sediments and mafic volcanic. We plan to drill the current hole to at least 900 metres.

Bayfield Rainy River Drilling Update, NW Ontario
Eastern Burns Rainy River Exploration:
Hole RR12-2 passed out of the main zone and we ended the hole at 560 metres. The next Hole RR12-3 was moved 80 metres south of holes RR11-202 and RR12-3 and was started at a 357 degree azimuth and 83 degree dip. Target is high grade mineralization down plunge/dip from hole RR11-205. Casing is in and drilling of the hanging wall has started this morning.

Bayfield Rainy River Drilling Update, NW Ontario
On the Burns Block, Rainy River drill Hole RR12-2 is at 383 metres this morning and is still drilling through the hanging wall dacite volcanics. The zone is expected to commence at approximately 450 metres. The hole is being drilled due west in order to cross-cut potential north south structures in an unexplored area within the main shear zone.
